“I wanted to create a visual of Heavenly father’s plan of success for boys and young men. These shoes lined up are symbolic of progression in the Lord’s Kingdom and Priesthood. The first pair are shoes an infant could wear during their baby blessing, next primary, then baptism, becoming a deacon and teacher, and then serving a mission. All of these shoes lead up to the final step of getting married in the temple. If we discuss these goals with our children, this painting can serve as a constant visual reminder of what path they are working to be on.”
